Our environmental approach

Committed to preserving the environment, the Best Western Hôtel de la Paix is the first hotel of the Region Champagne-Ardenne who received the European Ecolabel certification.

Our Commitment

With the Ecolabel certification, we are committed to comply with a number of fundamental principles that optimize energy consumption and water, manage waste more effectively through controlled purchasing and specific training staff. Our customers are informed of the simple gestures to follow in favor of the environment.

Some actions and commitments :

• About 180 square meters of green roof to enhance the natural insulation of our roofs
  
• 50% of purchased electricity is produced from renewable energy sources
• Use of light bulbs in public areas and rooms
  
• Bike rental (upon availability)
  
• In the bathrooms, soap dispensers replace individual courtesy gift, to limit the generation of waste
  
• In the rooms, separate bins allow our customers to sort their wastes
• Training our staff to "eco" procedures
